This insane girl at my school, when I never had any problem with her *If she starts first*, she has always name called me. I figured that I'd let her have her way. But she has obsessive issues. She calls me contaminated and some other people at my table, so on some days she states don't touch me. On other days, she'd give me nice credit, occasional "Respect". But today I purposely put my finger on her elbow then she spit at me. No teachers saw, but it was at the end of the day so this couldn't be dealt with. I thought she might put charges back for me poking her. She used to poke the teacher so I could use that. Tomorrow can be a day I can report her but I'm not so sure. An attack to a respected person from a getting-known person could hurt me socially. I'm not sure.

I put this in this category because it has some nicer, smarter people.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from her. It sounds like you do a few little meanies yourself, like poking her. It will lead to bigger issues if you don't keep away from her.
She sounds like a bully!
Good Luck!

Absolutely, report her first thing. How respected can she be if she acts like that?
Admit up front what you did, how you did it (as a defense and tease, not being mean and aggressively trying to provoke her), and the history between you two thus far. Carry an attitude of remorse and point out that you're willing to take your punishment because it's important for someone to talk to her so she doesn't get further out of hand.
If you can write down samples of her behavior and the amount of times she's been offensive, you'll have a little preparation done before going in. Consider any friends or classmates who have witnessed (or been the recipient of) her actions and mention their names as backup for your accusations.
Don't let this slide, future victims are counting on you.

I would suggest that you stay away from her. If she goes out of her way to call you names you need to ask her to stop, respectfully and nicely. If she does not report her - name calling is one of the behaviors that a bully exhibits.

Do not mention that you think she is insane. That could be called name calling as well.

Ok! To simply answer your question! Spitting is not only wrong but is very disgusting! Now, ask her why she spat on you and why she name calls you! Oh ye and what brought her up to that conclusion. And if she still does it you need to step up to the plate and kindly ask her to stop! Now don't tell! But tell her to please stop or you will report her to the office. If she won't stop and you have asked her several times to stop! Go and report her to the office!

Spitting at/on someone is not only wrong it's also disgusting. I personally would report it. Remember...popularity isn't always important.

WOW, I WOULD JUST GO TO THE GUIDANCE COUNSELOR, IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, TRY THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST. IF ALL ELSE FAILS, GO TO YOUR PARENTS AND TELL TO GO TO YOUR SCHOOL TO TALK TO THE PRINCIPAL. HER PARENT'S HAVE TO GO AS WELL. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT HER, I THINK SHE NEEDS PSYCHOLOGICAL HELP!!!!!
