Higher temp = greater energy
the thermodynamic energy of the air is transfered into kinetic energy and will increase the velocity of the tornado, however, this contribution is very small. the greatest influence on a tornadoes velocity is the temperature difference between two regions. this differential is what determins the intensity of the tornadoes velocity

severe weather is generally caused by a fall in biometric pressure when air Masses meet. If a warm air mass flows into a cold one it can cause a swelling in updraft causing a tornado. since the air in the clouds is much colder than the air on ground hotter swells will cause faster wind currents
