Melissa has been asking a lot of questions about politics. I guess she's making her plans early.
To answer your question, inauguration day in on January 20th following the presidential election which took place in the previous November.
So, to recap, the next presidential election will take place in November 2008 and the person selected as president will be inaugurated on January 20th, 2009.
