What are some parts of florida that do not have hurricanes or bad tornadoes? thanks -

All parts of Florida recieve damage from hurricanes just not all at once nor every year. Florida because it sticks out into the water recieves more hurricanes that most states because it has a coast on both sides. As for tornados remember 80% of all tornados in the world occur east of the rocky mountains in the United States.

Well, hurricanes and their rain bands have been over all of Florida at once: they can be more than 200 km across. Since in theory no location is impervious to hurricanes, or tornados for that matter, there is no reason why they won't experience them eventually, all other things being equal.

Disney World hardly ever experiences these. But they have gotten some heavy rain..

The farther up you go, the more likely it is that you will "run into" a tornado.
The lower you go, the more dangerous (in terms of wind and rain) it gets.

Either way, it's a sucky place to live.
