Maybe he used the 3 legardies pokemon and 1 genetic pokemon
Lorei can be defeated by Zapdos except Jynx he used Moltres
Bruno can be defeated by Articuno
Agatha can be defeated by Mewtwo
Lance can be defeated by Articuno
Your Rival can be defeated by Moltres, Articuno,Mewtwo, and Zapdos except Alkazam. Maybe he bought one Esper pokemon

umm well make your pokemon stronger. Since you know now what type of pokemon they are get pokemon that can beat their weaknesses. Good Luck! :)
