Pujols. Always consistent. Rarely injured except for last year. Possible MVP candidate again. What a beast.

RYAN HOWARD
He lead the league in hr and rbi last year, and hit over 300.
Before last years MVP season he was the NL rookie of the year
before that he was the AA MVP, before that the A MVP .....He has consistantly improved every year. His humility will keep his ego from getting in the way (eg A-Rod)
Plus the picthing within the NL east is much worse than it's been over the first 2 seasons of Howard's MLB career, as he enters his prime.

Pujols, by far this is the guy that gives you 40 HR, 100+ RBIS, batts .325+ and over 100+ runs a season. A MONSTER when it comes to fantasy baseball!!!!

Pujols is an obvious choice. Sleepers include Jose Reyes, Alfonso Sorianno, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez.
I also try to get Ichiro, too.

Pujols, no doubt. He's a triple-crown threat every year, and I think that's probably the most important thing -- he's consistently phenomenal every year, and you CANNOT go wrong with picking him. Even with his injury last season (which has never really happened before with him), he still had an amazing year.
There are guys with potentially-higher ceilings, like Howard or A-Rod, but they come with slight risks too -- i.e. Howard has only played one full year, and A-Rod is under constant pressure and seems dissatisfied with his current situation. Pujols carries no risks, and only monster stats.

depends on the league's scoring system but pujols is pretty much the safest bet... just look at his numbers for the past few years and they'll speak for themself. this is coming from a tigers fan (tigers lost to cards in the series) so you know its good advice.
