You could play the Match Game...where you put all the cards face down on the table in rows. Then you take turns turning over 2 cards. If they match... for instance 2 fours or 2 queens, etc,....then you take those cards and you get another turn. If the cards don't match it's the other persons turn. I think your neice will like the game. If she's the 'sore loser' type, she'll have to learn that she won't get anyone to play with her if she can't be a 'good loser'. :)

There is go fish and old maid . They can be played with a regular deck of cards. For the old maid game I use the whole deck and use 1 joker and call it "joker" instead of old maid. Not trying to be pc, it just fits better. Board games like candyland and chutes and ladders are also good for younger children. It might help her learn to control her temper if she learns to lose gracefully as well as to win gracefully. She needs to learn that sometimes you play for the fun of playing, not winning or losing.
