no i dont think they ever read them they are too busy for small people like us.

No, they don't. All celebs usually have an agency handling this type of thing (the agency that represents them) and someone there opens the letters, sends out the pictures, etc. The celeb really doesn't have time to do this, because many of them get a lot of mail, and it all has to be screened.

The celebrities very seldom even see the fan letters. They are generally taken care of by a secretary or assistant, and the responses are usually form letters. I wrote only one fan letter in my entire life, and never even got a response. Personally, I think fan letters are a waste of time.

I think that some do (ie those that really appreciate what they have been blessed with). I once read an article that the actor Viggo Mortensen responded to all his fan mail until his star really rose in the LOTR trilogy. According to the article he still tries to respond to some, but the volume is just too much these days.

Its usually depends, take Josh hutcherson for example, if the fan letter has a quick question he answers and writes back to you. If a certain question comes up a lot then he will answer it in his FAQ page. So if they have time, they read it or they may ask a family member to read them and tell them what came up.

i highly doubt it....they prolly hire someone to read them....they;ve probably read only like one or two in thier life when their career got started and they were all excited about being a celeb-other than that- NO! because they could care less about their fan mail unless they get things in the mail like mini-flat screen TV's or something like that and yes there are some stupid people in this world who send celebs things like that.....those celebs on MTV Cribs have said things like "I don't know where that thing came from. IT was prolly from a fan." and i was like WHT???? yea people are retarded
tyra banks says she personally reads all her fan mail but i highly doubt that...i mean really? come on! u really think she reads all those fan letters by herself? don't think so!

I think the only celebs that read and respond their fan mail are the ones that are just starting out and the rest of them have their "people" read them and respond.

....their assistants read them and send the person a signed picture....what celebrity has time to read thousands of letters....im not a celebrity and i dont even have that kinda time

some do and some cant, like local celeb's would coz they have the time but stars like paris and brad and ange wouldn't really have time to coz of there busy lives
