i JUST got gears of war. and was playing on medium and it was hard! and how do u throw the grenades? i just got it cuz my 360 was broken lol. but usually in shooters im fine on medium but this was hard for me. anyone find it unusually difficult?

Yeah it's pretty hard. Throwing grenades using the guideline is an exercise in futility. Just throw them a lot and start figuring out what works.

to throw grenades use the d pad and push it up so that your chose of weapons come up - choose the top choice (grenades - if you have any) and then hold the right trigger down to position the grenades where you want them to go...aiming higher makes them closer and more direct hits... you can also run up to another player and hit the b button and that sticks the grenades in the player ----- make sure you stand back or you will blow up too.... which sucks cause they will get the kill - and here's another tip as well - hold down your right bumper and right trigger as well as your b button for a silent chainsaw - and yes this game is really hard to get used to and since you don't have a lot of people just starting to play it - there are going to be a lot of people on line that are extremely good!!! but don't let it get you down! just keep at it and seriously, i can annihilate people now - it only took me about a month to be able to hold your own in a game :) -

well that's why you should always start off on easy mode that way you can learn and play better and faster and yes it was hard for me when i started playing and now i got so good i already beat it on insane mode..to throw grenades just basically press the fire trigger once you gets some and equip them

um, its no longer an argument with the cardboard, i exploit a memory card with only 64Mb and it runs completely. you like the DLC to play reason it has greater video games varieties, and much greater maps, and only approximately each and all of the video games are on the hot maps. i made that mistake in the past. yet once you inquire from me, gears isn't all that quite worth it on line

It took me a little while getting used to the A button doing almost everything. But i got through it quickly and i just beat it on insane. Playin co op makes it alot easier since someone can revive you when you die.

You just can't stand out in the open and try to slug it out with them. You have to learn to use cover and shoot and scoot to move up on them. I use cover fire and then move up on them. If you stand out in the open then you are a dead duck, so use cover to win.

Um, I will just make this short and simple. There is no easy mode... There is normal, hard, and "oh my god this is impossible"
