for 10 years? I'm in my twenties, but in the last tens years I really haven't been able to have many friends, classmates, let alone boyfriends come over to my house because it's not a home. What do you think?

You can always go to their houses--it's not as though you are living like a hermit. Geez, when I was a teen, I never wanted to be home--anybody else's house was better.

Why has it been taking 10 years to remodel a house? I'm sure that not every room is affected--you could probably have people into some room that looks normal.

Hon, they ain't comin' to see your house they are comin' to see you. And I too am in an uncompleted house which goes very well with my uncompleted life. Maybe all this waiting to get the dining room finished is why I'm on an anti-depressant. Actually you will come to a point in which you will realize, in the large spectrum of life this really doesn't matter. At least we aren't homeless or starving in Africa.
