My life sucks because I can leave my house and go to the supermarket and not have to worry about being blown up by some maniac in a car full of explosives. If you ask me, that really sucks.

The president hasn't done a damn thing about the economy. If someones life in the United States "sucks" as you so eloquently put it, then it is usually peoples own doing. You are where you are because of decisions you have or haven't made in the past - no matter what country you are in. Bush has nothing to do with that. The only think I really laugh about is when some idiot senator or the President goes on TV and tells everyone how great our economy is. I laugh at that because it's great if you are willing to work for peanuts..... - yes indeed there are plenty of such useless jobs out there. However if you're a professional seeking 6 or 7 figures a year you'll have a tough time finding those jobs in newspaper employment section! You ask how my life "sucks" in the U.S. ..... well it really doesn't and if there's something I'm unhappy about, you can be damn sure I'd be the first to do something about it!

My life does not suck now. I am making more money than ever. But, of course my life did not suck under Clinton...I just finally graduated college and got a real job. It tool me along time, because I worked my way through, and paid for it on my own.
Economies cycle. Fact of life, regardless of who is president.
Life is good in the USA. Don't believe me, take a trip to Mexico...not to Cancun or Cabo, but just about to the first town 30 miles south of the border and see how the people live. THAT SUCKS. Living here does not suck.

No child left behind has left so many kids behind, that even MORE kids aren't graduating now, than before this plan. There's so much testing going on in schools, they don't have time to teach...so they cut band and art and recess, as IF those aren't important...just so they can teach more of what's on the tests...so that the school can get better numbers where proficiency is concerned. Problem being...they aren't achieving this, and schools are fudging numbers. Brilliant plan.
Those who graduate have a much harder time getting into college because now, tuition has skyrocketed and grant and loan money has been cut so severely...my kids can't even afford to go to the state college. Working their way through college is an option, if they want to take one or two classes at a time, and graduate when they're 35.
My life in the USA doesn't suck, but the future seriously could. The education of American citizens is an important thing if we intend to continue being a contender in the world. Bush's presidency isn't necessarily causing the lives of Americans to suck. It IS causing America major embarassment. Personally, I think that sucks pretty hard.

Living under the constant barrage of hate speech against this country from the liberal left is a living hell.... The fact that the Main Stream Media fans the flames of hate for the US across the world is hard to bare also....

Life doesn't suck in the US. I've worked in a few 3erd world countries. We are very privileged to live here. We don't pay the taxes of Europeans. But we have a very privileged life style. There are pore Americans who aren't as privileged as most of us, but they are much better off than the pore of Indonesia, India, Venezuela . . .

I must say Bush has made life better in USA for most, unless you belong to certain sectors of the academic field.

Excellent question.
Like most American's, my family and I have a good life. And that includes a son in law who has done one tour in Iraq and is proud and ready to do another.
Thanks for reminding those who seem overwhelmed by the self induced hysteria of the moment.

This one's more for the U.S. Supreme Court. After 9/11 the airline industry went belly up and my dad, being a pilot for United Airlines, had his pension taken away. That's right. No more money. It's illegal for corporations to do that because they signed a contract with each and every employee promising them a retirement fund... and the supreme court got the case and overturned it, saying it's ok that my dad gets no money even though he's worked for this airline company for thirty years. SO yes, I do have some problems with our retarded *** govenrment and the way they run things.
