No laptop on earth has 20GB of RAM.
Tell her not to swear on such things unless she is an atheist .... gets pretty hot down there.

20 gig in a laptop is unlikely. Not aware of anyone who produces anything larger than a 2gig chip for laptop (most can only take 2 chips - 4 gig of memory) 20 gig is common for the size of the HARD DRIVE, but not for the memory.

Largest I have seen personally in a laptop is 4 gig. We have some HP Unix stations I support that 16 gig of memory.

But 20 gig in a laptop is unlikely.

LOL!! I just can't stop laughing. Its impossible to have 20 gig of RAM on a laptop. The maximum which you can have on a laptop/desktop as of now atleast is 4gigs. 20 gigs IS used, but ONLY on servers, not on laptops or desktop. The processor has nothing do with the RAM in your acquintance's case.

Hope this helps.

yes she is on crack..The most amount of memory windows can support is 4 gigabytes, it's not unheard of but super expensive to load a laptop w/ that much memory.

Windows Vista I think can handle 16gbs, (*the 64-bit version*), but 20 gigs is just plain wrong.

It could be that she's got some bad memory and it's reporting a flakey value, however more then likely she probably has 2.0 gig.

loving the possesed canine. the funniest ingredient i observed on youtube became into some thing that pertains to my city. 2 infants waiting on the kebab van exterior the pub (or oach coach in case you will), pulling out lightsabers from nowhere, and having a sturdy old formed action picture star wars conflict.

4 GB.

Your friend probably is confusing RAM with the hard drive!

You were looking at the harddrive not the system memory.

They are both two different things.
