I like Nevaeh. It's unique. You could go with Nevaeh Emma or Nevaeh Ruth. Good Luck!:)

I don't really like it - sorry - it sounds a bit hard. I have heard that names with letters starting from near the beginning of the alphabet are more successful. If you want an exotic name why not go for something African that has a beautiful meaning - e.g. Tandiwe - gift, or Nasha - beautiful.
Good luck - best thing is look at your little darling first, when she arrives, and find a name to suit her then. The American Indians do that and it works so well.

I havent heard this before, but as so many of your repliers say that it is becoming commonly used then i think you should pay attention to that. Certainly its not common in the UK. I dont really like it and whoever suggested that you give Leigh (or Lee) as a second name needs their heads tested - sorry but you cant saddle a child with that combo!
When it boils down to it, the child is yours so name her what you like, but sometimes you think a name is original and then you find that it is the new 'in' name and when you start going and meeting other mums and tots half of them have the same name.
Good luck anyway.

Why not just name your baby Naomi?? That spelled backwards is I moan. Do you honestly want your child suffering through like with a name like Nevaeh? Since its Heaven spelled backwards it technically has the opposite meaning. Why not call it Lleh??

Personally its not my 'cup of tea' - i would say go with something that is easy for her to say / spell when she first starts talking. Plus it will iritate the life out of you when people spell / say it wrong. One of my daughters is called Lily and i get so many different spellings of that so imagine what you'll get with Nevaeh!
Or other alternative would be to have Nevaeh on her birth certificate and call her something for short such as Neve.
Anyway good luck & congratulations x

it's nice, but unusual at the same time. but you have to think about your baby. people are gonna tease her when she's older. heaven spelt backwards? Come on, get real. they'll say things like "why'd 'ya mom call you heaven? Are you some kind of gypsy's?" this will cause your daughter to hate you when she's older and she'll only go behind your back and change her name to something like gertrude!

I like Nevaeh a lot, but it is becoming the new it" name like Madison and Olivia ... which I wouldn't like so much. I think it is nice to have a unique name, so that you aren't one of 10 kids in your class with the same name. Congratulations on your upcoming arrival!

I have an unusual name for my daughter who is 17 months old. I chose to name her Kizzy.
I chose her name after reading Roots by Alex Haley and finding the character strong, courageous and felt that it was a fitting name for the traits i hope my daughter shares.
I think if you feel the name has significance and sounds great then go for it.
I do think that when we choose names for our children we should consider how they will feel over time with that name, as they go through school etc and how they will be perceived in the adult world also.
I think your chosen name sounds great myself, as i am a fan of unusual meaningful names.
