Peter Green wrote 2 of the saddest songs ever. Closing My Eyes and Man Of The World.
He also wrote Green Manalishi, Albatross, and Black Magic Woman.
the newer stuff is good but not a patch on Greeny.

The "Rumours" Fleetwood - no contest.That album has to be a classic of the 70's.I was born in the late 70's & when i was at college a friend got me into soft rock from the 70's.I played Rumours on my cd til it basically wore out.
I listen to a lot of stuff from that era - The Clash, Pistols, Kiss, Blue Oyster Cult,Boston, Foreigner.But for me Rumours is right up there.
