This happens in only 1a few selected fast food joints....
Dirty Kitchen, shared job, but would you clean for minimum wage? Seems that's the frame of mind some people have which results in poor saftey standards
No care for food assembley, resulting in poor food quality, even to the point where it can go bad making customer sick.
pop fountain always unsantary, especially if it's a selfserve
food can be left (by company standards) in steamer, or hotlamp up to an hour. In a dirty kitchen, this is a recipie for disaster.
-=food=- (mostly every restraunt of any kind is guilty of this)
Lots of trans fats, making it harder to burn off. increasing risk of obeasity and heart problems
Lots of sodium, can give a heart problem, even liver and kidny problems.
veggies "not so fresh". Not dangerous, but gross.
food not covered while not in use, tends to go bad. Wont kill you, but gross once again.
but it least the food tastes good

The unhealthiness of fast food has to rank #1, but the advertisements easily come in second. Have you seen those McDonalds kids commercials? The little kids have those Happy Meal toys and they're talking about how good the food is and how 'healthy' it is-how cool it is to be a Mighty Kid. Well, McDonalds advertising is targeting little kids and getting them to beg their parents to go to McDonalds. More and more children are going to McDonalds and are getting overweight, or develope diabetes and other health problems from the sugar in the food, and all of those other bad things; it's like McDonalds doesn't even care that they're making kids fat and unhealthy-they just want the money because they're so heartless and healthless. Anyway, almost all issues with fast food in some way tie into how unhealthy it is. There is also the uncleanliness of the restaurants, the unfreshness of the food, but I can't think of more things that don't tie into the fact that fast food is unhealthy.

It's all unhealthy. Processed foods, fried, sugar, carbs, calories, fat content. Stay away from fast food unless you're just dying for a quick meal.
Watch the documentary "Super Size Me" and you'll have a completely different perspective on fast food.

None for me, I have been eating fast food everyday for the past 15 years, and I am quite fine, and healthy.
P.S. I only weigh 185 pounds.

If you're old enough to remember how fast service used to be, then it is easy to observe that fast food restaurants are no longer fast
