Lives in a 55 gallon aquarium, has UVA/UVB bulb, heat lamp & moon light. Lives with a Pleco (alge eater) that is about 4 inches long. Any ideas???

A single swollen leg is probably an injury or an infection, like septimicia (a blood infection).

Is it white? or is it an open wound? no count number if it relatively is it might desire to be fungus, would desire to be. no count number if it relatively is, use povidone iodine, and smudge it on the contaminated spots. no count number if that's no longer fungus, then study yet another answer.

do a web search on metabolic bone disease. your turtle may not be getting the proper nutrition. you should supplement his food with the appropriate vitamins
