Monitor power on?
Monitor signal cable connected tightly?
Have another monitor to try?
Do you know for sure your computer booted?

Either your monitor has gone out (try a different monitor and see if you get a picture) or something is preventing your computer from booting to where it has a display. Does the computer do any kind of "beeping" when it is booting? If so, that is a hardware error code. Think of it as "morse code" and write down the number of beeps.

If swapping the monitor does not work, you will probably need to have a pro (or a geek friend) look at the PC.

Do you hear any the fans turning? If not - then it is probably the power supply to your computer that is shot. Check to make sure everything is plugged in properly though. Do you see any light on the monitor - ie - is there an orange light? If no light - then I would suspect the monitor.

Try open your ROM tray to see if your screen will turn on.
