It is only 'pond/wet moss' that i got from a gardening store. I used to use it with my frogs and they where fine. But she might eat it. Will it cause her any harm if she does?

I use well-wetted long-fibered sphagnum moss (not any form of peat) in my Redfoot tank for humidity and something to dig in and they love it. They do not intentionally eat it, and it is a bit bitter, but not harmful.

I don't know what 'pond/wet' moss is, but the moss I use is Mosser Lee brand and available many gardening places, including Lowes.

The best substrate for a hermann tortoise is hemp with a 50/50 mixture of top soil and play sand. I would worry that pond/wet moss would harbour mould spours.
