What do you like and not like about student teachers?

my class recently got done having one and all of us are basically failing but now our old teacher is back and we all will pass! what are your stories about student teachers? and what did you like or not like about them?

i loved my American history class when i was in high school. i loved learning all the different things that it had to teach me. and i especially loved when i had my student teacher. he wanted to teach us so much and he would get excited much like my self and something kool we where about to learn. he wanted to be there. unlike some of the real teacher that i had during high school you could just tell that he was green. and he wanted to do a good job and educate the world! i loved having him just for his level of excitement!
i do agree that sometimes u have a hard time following a student teacher. but if you really think about ur real teacher should have been there to give him types.
because i'll be honest i had a better grade with the student teacher! because he was younger it was like he could speak our language!
also. i was having a hard time in my life for some reason. lot of emotional problems and he understood my stress. and we became very close! i looked forward to walking in to his class because i knew i didn't have to put on a happy face like with other teachers. i could look all p*ssed off or sad and it would be okay if i mouthed off because he know i would tell him i was sorry. and that was just having a bad day!

I had the meanest English teacher in the world when I was in High School. If it wasn't for out student teacher I doubt anyone would of passed the class. The student teacher was very nice and understanding, the total opposite of my "real" teacher.

I like them because they're someone different for awhile than our other teacher. Just a nice change for a little while. I don't like them because recently, our student teacher that we currently have marked me absent because she took the attendence before the bell even rang and I wasn't there yet. That was 5th period and I was present in 4th and 6th, so they would consider that I cut class.

likes: they pretty much get the same respect as a substitue teacher would until u get used to the person. in other words until they lay down some rules...u run wild.

dislikes: sometimes since they are just starting, they dont know how to actually teach and get their across.

i remember i had one student teacher in particular in 6th grade who would read a novel that he was actually reading to us during storytime. to put it bluntly, we were lost trying to figure out the words he was reading. fortunetely, he was only there for 2 months.

I like how they are close to our age, therefore being able to relate to our learning abilities, like how to teach tennagers and cope with them. I don't like how at being a student still, they are still learning how to teach, and that might not always work out.

well i like my teachers because i am like the only one they never get mad at i dont no wut it is most of my friends tell me dat i am pretty and they all think i am hot but i dont think so because i aint pretty. But i like them because they are really nice when you need help and they make sure that you get it even if it takes about 3 months all they care about is you getting the subject
