For the record, you get 1 month of XBL gold membership on both versions. They both come with ethernet cables and a headset. The remote control was a limited time thing.

well u get a month free of xbox live gold on both consoles, the core system does not have a hard drive a wireless controller,ethernet cable,headset,and it does not have component cables and if u think about it the 399 dollar one is better because u will probably want a hard drive that 100 dollars and u might want a wireless controller thats 40 dollars and u will get extra stuff with the 399 dollar one u will save about 250 dollars if u buy 399 dollar one. trust me thats why mostly all the people that have a xbox 360 have the 399 dollar onecause u can save money and u can get some games with that money. hope this helps man

The $399 360 comes with a wireless controller, HD capable Video Cables and a 20GB hard drive, while the $299 360 comes with a wired controller, SD only video cables, and no hard drive.

All the $300 version just comes with a wired controller.
The $400 version is a much better value, you would have to spend well over $100 to upgrade the $300 version.

The 399 one comes with wireless controllers and a headset for XBOX live, 299 comes with wired controllers and no headset.

well u save more money.da 399 has a headset,wireless controller,hard drive,and plugs for hdtv.da 299 is just da console,wired controller and tv plugs. u save money bcuz if u get da 299 then u gotta buy a hard drive dats 100 and da headset is bout 20 and da wireless is 40 so u save bout 60 bux if u buy da 399.

Selling the $399 xbox 360 would get you two Wiis, but the $299 would only get you one and half Wiis :-)

the cheaper one has just what you need to use the system where as the more expensive one has some added things not sure what thogh
