no duh. Kobe is the BEST. even though he has the most points, 31, he still have the 3rd most assists. 2nd most steals, 6. 2nd most field goals made, .56x shooting at the all star game.

lebron, nowitzki, wade, and others sucked.
only kobe and stoudemire played good.

Lebron is 1000 times overrated that he is.

Kobe is the best player in the NBA nothing he did at the all-star game surprised me. Everytime he steps on the court he brings it. And to show up players that are on his own level even made it more entertaining. And for all the critics who said he never pass then the West wouldn't of set an assist record including Kobe's 6 assist. I really hope the Lakers get Kobe some help so he can get his Finals MVP.

I don't understand how people can bash Kobe for taking "a lot of shots." Amare took 22 shots. Lebron took 20 shots, while no one else on the East took more than 15. Are they both ballhogs too?

Kobe equaled the assist leader on the east. He got 6 steals. He shot over 50%.

C'mon, give the guy some respect. He created, scored, and finished, as well as played defense and even saved a ball from going out of bounds. He saved a ball in an all-star game, is that heart or what?

To answer the question bluntly, he deserved the MVP. No one came close. Amare didn't create his own points, he had guards like Kobe feed him the ball, and he simply finished.

Yea, Kobe is amazing no doubt. But East shoulda won. Everyone knows the East had better players than the West, its just the East didn't play as a team and the West did.

Not surprised. Kobe wanted to impress and get the attention of the MVP voters going down the stretch of the season.

That image of him winning the all-star MVP has been implanted amongst them.

Kobe Bryant was just incredible yesterday it was kind of obvious that he went to Vegas to win and he came out as MVP there will be no one as good as him

I totally agree with your name. Kobe is truly an all-around player especially with his fade-away jump shot. People say he doesn't pass enough like MJ, but remember Kobe did not have Pippen or other players (not counting Shaq) of that caliber in his prime. I believe he is the best player in the league and possibly history.

GO LAKERS!!!

Yeah he was awesome but what about Wade? i mean did he even play?
Yeah - 10 pts, 5TOs and didn't even want to be there. He let his fans down, all 2029591 votes he received and he did NOTHING! He went to Vegas to look good for his sponsors and couldn't care less about the game. I really am ashamed D Wade, really am.

I think he was his normal flashy self. He's obviously a talented player but to say there will never be a player as good as him is crazy. There already have been players who've played in the NBA better than him.

He showed how big of a showboat he is. No one was playing defense and he thought he was in the NBA finals.
