I enjoy non-fiction books based on history, religious contoversies, astronomy, anything controversial. Mostly non-fiction or apperar to be anyways. Things like The da vinci code or the hiram key if anyone is familiar. Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

"Misquoting Jesus". It's an excellent book that tells of the history of the bible and how it was written and rewritten again and again. It's by a former evangelical scholar. Quick read and worth a view especially if you like controversy and religion.

I read the "Last Templar" excellent book and extremely like the da vinci code.. you will enjoy it if you are into that sort of thing.. it's a must read... a short synopsis is that some relics of the vatican's are stolen during a viewing in a museum by men mounted on horseback. A detective and an archeologist must find them together as this develops into a religious battle raging for nearly 800 years..

A good book I enjoyed was the Celestine Prophecy, then the 10th Insight, Celestine Vision are all the order of the series. These are like the DaVinci Code in many respects.

Ben Carson 'Magic Hands' is a great autobiography as well

Oh! I love those kind of books! Try Unsolved Mysteries of History. I haven't read it yet though, but what I saw at Barnes &Nobles, it was very fascinating. It was only like 10 bucks because it was on sale, but try looking for it! Good luck!

check out Tobias Wolfe's Vietnam memoirs. Not your typical war memoirs by any means, and very, very good. In Pharoah's Army by Tobias Wolfe. If you like it, then read his childhood memoir This Boy's Life.
