has ¼ cup of sugar and a tablespoon of ketchup is ⅓ sugar.
Sweet breakfast cereals even worse.
We are sooo addicted yet feed it to our children and laugh.
[I won't rant on this again, promise!]
What shall we do?

Don't under any circumstances switch to sugar free or diet stuff as that contains Aspartame and that was invented 30 years ago originally as RAT POISON.

Aspartame is the secret poison that is killing people.......I call it human culling.

Just reduce the amount of sugar products you use, now and again is fine, just not daily. Eat half the serving you would normally have and "exercise" that is the key!

Nothing. If we stop then all the sugar cane growers and producers will be bankrupt and a lot of people out of work.

Right now artificial sweeteners are encroaching on the industry.

I think I'd rather have sugar than the artificial alternatives

Some of the cereal companies are making lower sugar cereals, and some other products are going that way too.
Maybe consumer pressure will work.
