True. Watch bollywood films. The baddies are always the darker ones. Ignorance is all it is with a lack of moral education.
Can you believe the things Rimi Sen said about Black people? She said: Rohit Shetty is amazing as a director. He can make even a black African look pretty.
I can't understand why she isn't given a hard time when the people in the Big Brother (uk) made no reference to the colour of Shilpas skin now have lost their careers.
Remove those Fair and lovely creams of the shelves.

Sadly or fortunately ignorance is universal and every group has its bad apples. But many Indian racists see their prejudice melt once the subject of his prejudice is economically successful and can deliver enough compensation to erase his prejudice. I have seen a lot of prejudice bought and sold with greenbacks. There is a market for it, pure supply and demand. In this day and age money rules. Hate groups can be driven bankrupt and child molesting priests thrown out of business. So if you are a victim of prejudice arrange financing to erase it. Maybe there will be a new form of socially conscionable venture capital "APF" ( Anti-Prejudice Funding). Bill Gates may gladly help.

Unfortunately racism can exist in all races and cultures. Racists feel threatened by anyone who is from a different race or culture. Some Indians probably believe that white or lighter skin complexion is better. It is a form of self-hate.

its ignorance.. plus they have that cast system that is b...****..they allow their women and men get marry with rich whites..so they are not pure..all is Bill Gates fault.. he went to India felt sorry for this poor people...help them out built hospital schools.. and move microsoft and dell building s over there.giving them a lot of jobs and helping to develop their economy ,, so now they are better than anyone..the one who never had nothing.. once he has it wants to go crazy...

It is because of our attitude developed by Manu smriti. The same applies to color preferences too. everyone looks for fair colored spouses/friends.
