I got my betta fish yesterday im sick of him being all
jump-y. how long will it take him to become comfortable?

It can take 3-4 days before they really settle in. Be sure his home is over a dark surface or has dark gravel, that will really help.

lol, hun thats what betta fish do, they are fighter fish. As long as you dont annoy them, they should be fine, make sure he has a decent size bowl andsmooth rocks, the more coarse rocks rip his fins, they are fragile and could effect his life. But if you want him to me more "calm" Buy a vitamin forula for him at ur pet store, any kind should work

he is adjusting...just let him do his thing for a few days and he will be fine...i have had 3 of them and they do get really jumpy and all, but they will calm down eventually. They will be happy as long as you feed them enough and clean their bowls or tanks...and as long as you don't put another fish in their tank...then everything will be a-ok.
