It was back in the 70's. There was this blimp that crashes on to this ancient island. Its kinda like they slip through time or something. The only visual I can rember is the blimp flying over a massive wall on the island. I saw it during a summer movie festival when I was a kid. Im certain that I rember it right. Can anyone help?

HA! How ironic, I watched this movie with my parents last night! It's called "The Island at the Top of the World"

The Island at the Top of the World is a 1974 film starring David Hartman and Donald Sinden as explorers who embark upon a journey in a blimp to find a mythic settlement of Vikings still living in a volcanic region near the North Pole. The novel set the location as Prince Patrick Island.

Are you sure it was a blimp and not a plane? It kind of sounds like "Lost Horizon" where the survivors find this island called Shangrilah, a place where if they stayed there, they would remain young forever.
