As the colour are emotions - and shock is usually something of a suspension of them all, then arguably white or clear perhaps?

I would pick colors that when combined together create tension. For example have you ever seen certain shades of red that when put on top of blue it causes the edge of the red to "vibrate"? Many colors work this way when put on top of yellow. also. I would pick some of the primary and secondary colors that have been suggested by others and try different combinations until you come up with a good pallet that expresses "shock".

i can see shock as several colors.
i think it can be a shocking color like something florescent. like florescent pink or yellow.
shock is a combination of emotions so maybe its a secondary color like purple (the combination of red and blue.) or orange (red and yellow)

When I think of shock i think of the movies where their hair turns white. So I think I would say white or anything close to it.

I see it as a really neon yellow. ^__^ Or maybe an orange-yellow. =D It's all flashy and bright in your face, just like shock.

try white, blue white, orange,or bright pink.
