what causes scours in adult horses?

Horse has been wormed, given several doses of penicillin and has been removed from the herd; is fed seperatly from others.

Any number of things can cause scours. If it does not clear up real soon I'd have a blood panel done to see what could be causing this. It also could be from an allergic reaction to a food or grass that he is on..So there are alot of possibilities here but I'd start with bloodwork first to eliminate internal issues.

there could be several things, but Salmonella comes to mind.
