absolutely not.....you will not notice any adverse conditions other than the condition you now have in your closet.......the heat generated by the refrig when it is running will not be noticed in a closet of your size...totaling 300 sq.ft. .........all your clothes and whatever else you have stored with them will not be affected with a 1.7 cube.....the extra heat that you would have in the closet wouldnt amount to leaving a 60 watt bulb on continously in the same area...also need not to worry about leaving the closet door in a closed position for days at a time....it will not affect the contents at all. you would have to go up to at least a 5 cu.ft. size to notice any adverse condition but onlycausing a warmer condition with the closet door closed for days at a time...however please heed the warning of any appliance plugged into a wall receptacle that is not in the same room must have an approved extension cord to operate the appliance. in your case its your refrig.,and iam guessing that there is not a wall receptacle in your closet,.as most closets are not supplied with a wall recepacle especially one the size you have mentioned. does that solve your q.?

I don't think it would..just be REALLY careful about things falling behind it, because the back of them get pretty warm/hot at times, and you sure don't want a fire. If you have an outlet in there, I don't think you would have any probs, but I wouldn't trust one on an extension cord. I thought I was spoiled having one under my desk..LOL The closet sounds like an even better idea:)
Good Luck!!

No. Just make sure it has some space to breath.
It will not sweat. Most refridgerators are usualy PRETTY close to a wall, and don't hurt the wall. To make it cold inside it actually puts out heat outside.

Not unless you throw clothes on it. Make sure it doesn't sweat tho cuz it could hurt your wall.
