I've heard that you can get a Driver's licence at 16. But I don't know if it's true. I live in Texas and if its not at sixteen then at what age is it? I need details. Or even if you have a web page I would appreciate that also. And how much are you charged? and do you have to attend to a driving school?
Please answer my question and try to make it the best so you can be the best answer. thanks for your coperation.

In Texas, all new drivers under 18 must complete an approved driver education course before they can be licensed. The state of Texas allows the parent to teach the student using approved curriculum and materials. Teens may begin the program at 14, but will not be able to get a learner’s permit until the age of 15.

First, it requires all those under 18 to start out with a learner's permit, only driving with a licensed adult (21 or older) in the car with them. Teens need to have this permit for six months or until they turn 16 before they can move on to a provisional license.

The provisional license then lets teens drive without an adult―but not with more than one friend under 21 in the car with them. And they can't drive between midnight and 5 a.m.

The idea behind these restrictions is for the still-new driver to get more experience behind the wheel before they try to drive while being distracted by friends or driving late at night.

After six months, you can drive at night and with friends, but your license will still be provisional. There are also some cases where you can drive during restricted times, such as if it's necessary to get to work or take care of a medical emergency.

in pennsylvania you have to aquire a permit before you get your liscense. it cost about 28$. you get that permit when you turn 16. you learn the concepts of driving for six months with a supervision from an adult 21 or older and have to get 50 hours of driving practice in those 60 months. you go at 161/2 to get your liscense. in flordia you get your permit at fifteen and drive on it until you are 16 then you can get your liscense. check the dmv's web page. http://www.dmv.gov
