Is that false?

Yes, it is false. All gas exchange in reptile happens through the lungs. The skin of all reptiles is dry, unless they are aquatic, but that is from the water, not mucus secretions.

Perhaps what you are thinking of are amphibians. They have moist skins to facilitate gas exchange because amphibian lungs are not as efficient ast those of reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Perhaps sea snakes have some method of getting extra oxygen from the contact of water with their skin, but unlike amphibians, they cannot remain submerged indefinitely.

Yes, it is false. Reptiles have dry skin. Moist skin is more characteristic of amphibians.
