vistolas,

DON'T put any liquids on your TV screen!

freeze the gum using ice cubes in a plastic bag.

then use a sharp putty knife and scrape it off.

Yikes! Sounds like a sticky situation!! (Excuse the pun)

Get a plastic bag, and then fill it with ice. (Don't listen to anyone who reccomends peanut butter! That only works for hair!!)
. (It helps to have a washcloth on the part of the bag you're holding to make it more bearable to hold). Wrap the bag of ice around the gum and hold it there for 20 minutes (You could even use duct tape to hold it there for that long). Once it's frozen, you can start to chip it off. (Just using your fingers or a knife (or a razorblade, if you must) to do so. If the gum starts to stretch or get sticky again, you'll have to repeat the freezing process.
If you're hesitant to do this (you think it might damage a plasma screen), you can try goo gone.
Hope this helps!! Good Luck!!

try olive oil or any other oil product which will break down the stickyness of it, but only if it is a glass screen, not the expensive flat screens.
