I am 33 and in all my years of menstrating I can almost say I have never gotten PMS. Maybe an occasional cramp. But never bloating or anything else. The last 3 months I have been getting very sore breasts at that time of the month. I can not be pregnant , that is physically impossible, but they feel exactly like they did when I was pregnant with my son. Is this a symptom of PMS, what causes it if it is or isn't and other than pain medicine how can I lessen it. Why at 33 has my body chosen to start this now? thanks ya all ladies.

It can be just the start of PMS symptoms for you, I don't know why because my body is doing the same, but as you age your bodys hormones change. I have gone from 3 day periods to 5 day periods to no cramps to bad cramps from no cravings to some cravings and back to no cravings with mood swings, bloating and breast pain and they feel heavy too it's weird, And this all happens a week before my period

Yes it's a part of pms and it is caused by hormonal changes. As for making it less painful the only thing I can suggest is heat. Mine get really sore and I've just learned to live with it. Good luck!

Vitamin B6. I have been taking it to balance hormone issues for a long time and since I have taken it, they have gone away. If I forget to take it, guess what, sore breasts, so I know that it works for sure. Go to www.wholehealthmd.com and type in vitamin b6 in the search field. It will tell you eveything you need to know!
