Does any one how to find someone.? Or has anyone had a simular experience?

A long time ago a mutual friend showed up at a bar with another girl who resembled me identically. (Everyone has a twin or a double so they say) Once he saw me there he hurried the other girl out the door and we only had one of those quick looks at each other. Enough to say who is that. The mutual friend denies any knowledge about the whole incident.
I've been wondering for quite some time about that girl who looked like me.
All or any of the information I have about her is that she resembles me.
Another fact that is really neat is that other people who I know have mixed her up for me as well and even though I could prove that I was some where else at the time like at work or in an entirely different city.
In fact, my very own father and one of my best friends have also mistaken her for me and refused to believe that The person they ran into was not me. I grew up in the Kitchener area and the other girl was met up with on King St. & Waterloo area.

So my real question is how would I go about finding that person who resembled me? Why? I always wanted like a twin sister and I think it would be cool.
My secondary question is did anyone else ever have a simular experience?

ANother question on the matter could be also. if you found your identical twin look alike what sort of fun would you have with that? Or would you dislike that someone else out there resembles you so much?

your question is sort of confusing, but i know someone who looks like me. we were actually friends back in junior high and we went to the same church. one time i was at the library and a girl came up to me and started talking to me thinking i was the other girl.
