The Tahoe is the highest rated SUV, and gets way better fuel economy than any other fullsize SUV.

No they do not require premium gas. Never pay extra for premium gas. The 2007 yukon, tahoe has engine that uses only 4 cylinders while traveling. Rated at over 20 mpg. I will bet anyone here in Colorado with these mountains a 2007 tahoe or yukon will get better gas mileage than nearly all vans.

The 07 Tahoes are good for towing and for style I have 2 one for my business and the other my wife drives. The 07 tahoe is a great truck. But if you chose the Yukon its great for style and to pimp it out. But the gas is not affordable for this truck and the miles go up so much in a month or two. glad to help.

Compared to other full sized SUVs, including their predecessors, and Japanese competitors, these SUVs get good gas mileage. They are also more technically advanced than other Full Size SUVs.
They are still full size SUVs, and if you don't need the space, other SUVs and Crossovers are more practical, more economical, and easier to drive. Because of the heft of the vehicle, and because of the side airbags, The Tahoe and The Yukon are safer than most cars.

they look good. you don't need premium fuel, either. They get better gas mileage than all the competition because of displacement on demand, and the engines are virtually bulletproof. of course, if you don't need an SUV, and you're just using it to go back and forth to work or school, it will seem impractical...if that's the case then get something else. Otherwise, that SUV is one of the better ones out there.

my boyfriend has a 2006 yukon xl, its a gas hog, too big and expensive because you have to use premium gas. mini-vans are more enviormentally friendly, but their ugly...pick your poision i guess.
