Why then, if Bush is so great, would McCain think Bush was worth a darn? Why would McCain support someone like Bush who IS, not was, but IS, dumb enough to appoint an idiot like Rumsfeld as Sec of Defense?

I will tell you. Its because McCain is a STUPID as Bush.

And, Hilary is worse. People, we have GOT to turn to Third party Candidates for the next election. It is obvious, even if they are not actually EVIL, that we are being led about by MORONS.

Do you have any constructive comments that would lead us towards voting third party?

Wow! My thoughts exactly! With the current two party system that we have, the choice always seems to be between dumb and dumber.

The GOP has completely alienated the core of their party (no ... not the 'religious right'... the ones like me who think the government should be small, and spending should be pretty much on defense ONLY). The Democrats have no direction whatsoever, because they are always being hijacked by radical fringe special interest groups.

It's too bad the Libertarians can't seem to get it together enough to really make a statement come election time. Looks like we in the good 'ol USA are screwed for the foreseeable future.

With all due respect, your question wasn't very constructive so I'm not sure if you should expect constructive comments in return.

Both parties are full of cheats, liars, and hypocrites. The problem is, in addition to these glaring deficiencies, the Democrats are also illogical, ill-informed anti-capitalists. So until we get a third party that can advocate some serious conservative ideals, I refuse to vote in such a way that makes me responsible for electing Democrats.

Start a third party, find a legitimate candidate (not Nader), and then we'll talk.

Can't agree with you more ... McCain is as stupid as Bush. He has the the audacity to toally disregard the people's verdict of Nov/2006 and has been consistently supoorting Bush's murderous adventure.

If you are for America, by America and America first, then look into Ralph Nader.

About the only thing you can do is keep researching the candidates and sharing information that you find out about them.

We need to keep each other informed because most Americans really have no idea how twisted some of these people are!

No, and neither do you.

McCain won't get the nomination. at this point, nobody believes the straight talk rhetoric anymore. Hillary won't get the nod either- he stance on the war makes her impossible to elect.

it's a year out from the major primaries. very, very early.
