I have one very very sweet dwarf hamster that never bites or gets startled. I’ve had him for a while and adopted him when he was a baby.

I also just got another dwarf and he is very mean! He gets startled and runs away from me when I try to pick him up, and bites me allot so it bleeds. He was bought at store and was not hand raised. What can I don to help him trust me and be as nice as my other hamster?

The new hamster should grow to be nicer. When they just come from the pet store, it takes a week sometimes two, for them to get used to their new owners. Try to pet him, and if he turns upside down onto his back, with his belly up, it means that he is scared and that he is surrendering cause he thinks you are going to hurt him. Just open the cage door, wait for him to come out, and feed him a treat and pet him. He just needs to get to know you.

so which you have Cartmen and Alice. What approximately Titus for a boy? for women you're turning out to be "Wendy (the smart one), Gee-Gee (the insane one), Alexandra Geraldine Spritz (the luxurious hamster) Janie (the confusing worker) and Frank (the revolt seeing she is a woman called FRANK). If no longer, in basic terms call all of them Bob a million, 2, 3 and four.

First of all, I hope they are not in the same cage or they will kill each other. Hamsters are solitary.

Just handle him daily and he will come around. (try wearing gardeing gloves until the biting stops, so you aren't hurt)

Just let him be if he wants to be picked up he won't go away from you and that way you won't keep getting bit.
