How do I do updates on my laptop?

I've been canceling doing the updates bc i was doin something else so i want to know how i can get it started...also , How do I defrag?

www.windowsupdate.com you can start updating your computer. to defragmenting your hard drive go to my computer then right click on your C:\\ (local disk)drive and go under properties then to tools and then to fragment your hard drive. when defragmenting your hard drive don't do any other things or it might mess something up. good luck
