Call Microsoft.
Their customer service is excellent and on many units they extended the warranties for an extra year.

This means that your disc drive is shot. You will have to pay for the repair, because Microsoft will not extend your warranty if it is already void.

Are you trying to play an original game disc?
Drives don't usually do that, and this would be the first xbox 360 i have heard that does something like that.
If you had it moded then the mod is not working anymore and you may need to redo the mod.
