I dont live there but I was using a can of carb cleaner and it said not for sale or distribution in the state of california, and you have to have converters, mufflers and all that. why is CA so strict and other states not? like I heard new cars that are made, the exhaust is diff then on cars that go to other states.

just another way for the state to take your money with a smile and create a job for the mexicans and make the politations look good.

We have more cars than any other state. We have more consciousness about air pollution, and the ways to reduce it. We were the first state to put emission controls into effect (they're now ubiquitous nationwide).

Colorado has emissions BS too. It sucks tho i know...
