I saw somewhere that they are trying to pass a law that if a married couple doesn't have a child in the first 3 years of marriage that the marriage will be anulled. How can they do that? What about these men and women who can't have kids or the couples who do try to have kids but can't until 5 years later or the couples who simply do not want kids. Can they not get married??

It's a protest of a sort. The guy is protesting the ban on gay marriages in Washington State because they said it is impossible to have gay children. So he is using this petition to protest the ban on gay marriages by trying to get a ban on childless marriages for the same reason, it is a publicity event. Don't worry about it.

I have never heard of this law. Are you sure that you heard this from a reliable source? Besides it would be very difficult for parliment to pass this law. There would be to many protests and clauses. It wouldn't make it pass the house of commons!

A neocon rumor? Wtf do you even mean by that this has been in the news although I think its only Washington or something. I think its an outrageously stupid law and is even worse than letting gays get married but I dont think the voters are going to pass it. The facts that someone could even get this on a ballot is proof of how liberal this country is becoming.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over this, but I said almost the same thing last week when you asked the same question.

That's weird and I'm sure it'll be challenged in the courts if it ever passes, which I doubt.

Don't think it's possible. Marriage is not solely about having children. Where'd you hear that?
