It is 5 days before my period is to come. Could it be possible the hcg level hasn't shown and i could be prego?

It is slightly possible, but if you only have 5 days before you expect your period, I will say it's very unlikely. Blood tests are 100%, and can detect HCG at a very early stage. Wait and see if you get your period or not, and then go from there! Good luck!

If the test was done using blood and it is neg. then no I am sorry the HCG levels would already show. But if a urine test was done then yes it is possible. You may want to check with your dr because sometimes they draw blood for other tests but use your urine for the PG test. If he did take a urine sample then chances are that that is what was used for the PG test and not the blood.

Pretty unlikely, even some home tests can test 5 days before your period is due and a blood test is an exact count of the amount of hormone in your blood.

I'm not trying to discourage you because anything is possible but usuallt a blood test will show positive 24 hours after implantation. Good Luck

I don't think you are. The blood test would be pretty acurate. It might be stress making you late. Put your feet up and relax

your negative hcg result shows you are not pregnant at this time.HCG means HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPHIN.That will present in the blood during pregnancy
