Abortion is murder.
The blob of cells theory that pro-choice folks give is their way of justifying killing a human to get out of their obligations. (excluding incest, rape) That blob of cells will indeed pop out as a little baby boy or girl, which means it should have the same rights as any other human!
A beating heart means that it lives, how dare we as adults take away their rights.
And yes, its in the womans body, but its still a human itself, and deserves its chance at life.
So to answer the question, a beating heart should mean it has the same rights as everyone else, but of course, not in this great nation! >:(

I think that's one of the problems about abortion. Too many people figure out of sight out of mind. A fetus will continue to grow into a full fledged human. Heart beating, eyes opening, thought process. They are a baby in the earliest stages. So how come so many people don't think twice about abortion. I'm not sure, but what if this country would just take the time to think about this and promote the fact that too many children are dying because people are having sex for the wrong reasons and are not being protected. I still think abortion is necessary in some cases but not due to the inconvenience of the mother and father.

Congrats on bringing up one of the most loaded questions in modern socio-political thought. My friends and I have this discussion all the time, and it's come to us that one's opinion on this is directly related to one's concept of when life starts. This is also inextricably linked to people's concept of the soul. When does the soul occupy the body, do you think? Is it when the sperm makes contact with the egg? Is it when the package sticks to the wall of the uterus? The end of the first trimester? For a long time, a fetus in indistinguishable from a tadpole. Is it when the fetus becomes recognizably human? The reason this is important is that the boundary between one and the other, between human waste and human life, is where the line can be drawn for the fetus' right to life, and the mother's right to personal choice. It's all opinion. Mucking up the program even more is the fact that women naturally abort zygotes that have affixed themselves to their uterine wall all the time. Unhealthful living and random accidents cause abortion every day. There doesn't seem to be a natural barrier between the progression of what is essentially an animal, and the emergence of a thing that is demonstrably self-aware. A thing has rights if it's human, and when does that happen? Legally, that's the problem, and it's all interpretation.

Of course it's murder. It's a simple biological fact that every abortion kills an innocent human being. Anyone who denies this is denying reality. For more information, see:

It's really hard to say because:
1. Many seem to have different concepts on what constitutes human life.
2. Some think it begins when the sperm meets the egg, but then you have to ask yourself, "wasn't the sperm alive?"
3. Some think it begins at the moment of consciousness but who can actually recall at what point they became conscious.
4. If you do believe it begins at consciousness then what do you mean by consciousness? Brain cells are made up of atomic particles just like rocks are. Are rocks alive?
I don't think the abortion issue is so cut and dry and America as a culture is struggling to define where this line between what is "alive" and what isn't "alive" needs to be drawn. Many say the Bible says abortion is murder, but the Bible doesn't mention abortion anywhere in it. Again it comes down to ones own opinion as to what life is. I know some who think life doesn't begin until you turn 21.

if a baby is stillborn, having had a beating heart before birth, did it ever live? I think not, therfore life begins at birth! Further, if you kill an enemy soldier - with a beating heart - is it murder? No, because "MURDER" is a legal term; therefore, if the law says abortion is LEGAL, then by definition, it is NOT murder! It's not all "black and white" to a THINKING person - religious dogma aside!

Law says it is legal to abort or terminate. We kill killers, or we murder them. Murder is to lie in wait and deliberately slay another human. That is the old law of the Bible.
It is what modern law is based on, sorta.
Population doubles every 25 years, or less now, we will be at 10billion by 2015, there aint enough land, water or food to support humans now, so it is gonna be anarchy or a whole lotta murdering, killing in order to exist.
http://populationlive.com/
The planet's population continues to explode: from 1 billion in 1820, to 2 billion in 1930, 3 billion in 1960, 4 billion in 1974, 5 billion in 1988, and 6 billion in 2000. For the 21st century, the continued exponential growth in science and technology raises both hopes (e.g., advances in medicine) and fears (e.g., development of even more lethal weapons of war).
https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/xx.html
If heart beat is life, saddam hanging was murder, or justified murder for the greater good.
That is dancing with words, it gets kinda ugly.
I can justify abortion for the greater good of humanity, or I can blame humanity for crimes against humanity. Either way, Religions and Politics get rich, declare bankruptcy, get richer and prices like water levels will rise.

I've learned that abortion will never end. There will be people who want it, and people who don't. The best that you can do is not support any of it if you do not believe it is right.
In saying that, I don't believe our tax dollars should pay for abortions for women who can't afford it.

Yes, because it is already conceived. with a beating heart, it means that it is already working as a human. Therefore it is murder.

I'm a 100% with you it might not be a full grown child but i believe when the sperm hits the egg that's the first part of life it has to be alive or it wouldn't grow but that child has the right to live
