okay, so this is what happened. I started using myspace 2 years ago, at the start of my senior year in hs, and i was using it, and it became really addictive, so i made a brave decision to delete my myspace and I did, then i started regretting i shouldn't have,

then 2 months ago, i remade my myspace,, to keep in touch with ppl since im now in my 2nd semester of college and after a while i had thaat same feeling, the feeling that everyone was so fake on here, so i didn't want to be involved again, and i don't know why i deleted my myspace AGAIN so THAT'S TWICE. I don't know how a website can make me so addictive and obsessed, so now after deleting it 2 days ago, I'M REALLY REGRETTING IT, i don't want to remake it again, but im getting obsessive again for a website, im so confused, anyone done anything similar to what i've done? gosh, is it just me or is this website really evil, i want my life back, i want to focus on what i need to do, not spend time on the computer...

i TOTALLY understand! i had my sister go under my name and delete for me cuz i couldnt do it, then i regretted it and a couple of months later i remade it...and yes, i believe people are fake too, however, only use it to keep in touch with my real friends...only add real friends...i keep in touch with friends from high school..and i am in my 3rd year in college. just check it once in a while or if you need to talk to someone...sometimes i think its handy...other times its a nuisance. dont let it control your life...make plans with your friends, even if you talk to them through your myspace, and go have some fun!

Look at it this way. It's not evil, but it will ruin the future of America. You can obviously tell by the lack of intelligence of the majority of the users on MySpace. From minor things like typing "your" instead of "you're" to tYPIng lYKe ThIS. Myspace users tend to lack the knowledge of proper English and grammar. Another sad issue is how I see so many profiles listed as "I hate books. I hate reading. Reading is boring." Another issue is the security of MySpace. I see so many profiles these days, hacked, because people are idiotic and do not know how to protect themselves, and can't tell if they're actually logging MySpace, or some fake website that steals their password. That sort of stuff annoys me about MySpace.

i understand what you're going through, but i think it may have been a little extreme in deleting it. you don't need to go that far...just take a break from it.

One of my friends was in a similar situation. They had me change their password to something that only I knew, so that in order for them to check it, they had to go through me.

Maybe that will help?
