I am so tired of racism, it is unreal...racism against blacks, racism against whites, racism against other cultures... I am trying to raise my children to understand both sides of their heritage, but how can I when there is so much hate and pointing fingers on both sides? African Americans think that white people should suffer for what they did in the past, whites think that they need to shut up about it, blah blah blah. Why can we not just let the past go (as so many of us are told we need to do in our personal lives) and just try to make a better, more loving peaceful future for our children? Let go of the stereo types and be happy that we are now all free. White people, be greatful to africans for the sacrifices they endured all those years ago to build our country, and africans, be greatful it was a white man that set you free. This is just so stupid and childish, and it needs to stop.

Racisim is ignorance...you are taught it, you are not born a racist. So while there are people our there teaching their kids the same stuff the circle of hatred will continue.

Way to go for trying to break that circle within your family!

If it is ever going to end, it will take parents teaching their children that racism is a bad thing and will not be accepted or tolerated.

There are a lot of hateful people in the world and with so many different races and interracial union of people, the ones who get hurt the worst are the children who are TAUGHT to hate at a young age.

There should be some type of Child Abuse law put in effect for parents who outright teach their children to hate another person for no other reason but for the color of their skin or what language speak or what their faith is.

Racism is located out. no person is born a racist. i comprehend this might properly be a quick simplistic answer yet many study over the years have shown the comparable consequence. If one or the two one in all your mothers and fathers become a racist, threat is you would be too. They instruct it with the help of words, words movements, some diffused, some overt. that's very real of whites. Blacks learn racism against whites for usually distinctive motives. they often blame whites for the disenfrachisement they face nonetheless, in many institutions in the international and the u . s . a .. mutually as those thoughts are generally valid they are manifested in approaches that are construed as openly rascist. the two way, racism is learened with the help of situational or communicational movements. thus, the only thank you to end racism is to end the scism between have's and have not's of all races, an suited that could in basic terms be untenable in a loose capitalist international.

It is weird. Not all white people enslaved blacks. Many white people came to America 100 years ago. My family did. I have a hard time understanding what is going on. I don't think everyone is like this. But it does make you get serious indigestion. It makes you wonder, Who in the world are these people? Do they need a pill or what? Take care.

You are right on the spot! Forgive and FORGET!

In another millennium there won't be any racism of color, because of all the cross-breeding. It will be of power!

People have fought, disagreed, put down, etc., since the beginning of time. Look at kids in school. They cull each other by dress!

Animals aren't much better. They have a pecking order too!

Maybe we were designed to strive to be better than others. To be in control. To learn to love and forgive. BUT don't worry. No one will!

I believe that one day there will be a time when we won't care about the color of skin. That it won't matter to us at all. But there will be some sort of predjudice forever.

Humans are too imperfect to ask for no prejudice. Whether it will be prejudice against people because they wear jeans or because of their religion there will always be some sort of intolerence. Right now, the world is focused on the color of skin

Of course not! Wishful thinking, though. I give you a star. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders.

I do have a solution, however. If we all teach our children that race doesn't matter, we may have a generation of people who have less problems with race as the current generation.

Unless Christ comes back before it happens, at some time in the future, there will no longer be any races. They will have all merged and everyone will be the same.
