Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.
It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.
You're a 90's kid if:
U remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain , and Two Stupid Dogs.
You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!
You just cant resist finishing this... "Iiiiiiin west philladelphia born and raised..."
You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World.
You remember when, 2Pac and Selena died.
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.
You remember reading "Goosebumps"
You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.
You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.
You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence

You are calling the 90's the good old days? I was born 1959. The good old days were before that. Everything was done the old fashioned way.

These are not the old days. These are simply yesterday. The old days goes much further back than this. They include remembering...
The Name of the tiny ship that was tossed and all would be lost if not for the fearless crew...
The name of the car sales man that lived above, Janet, Crissy, and Jack..
Sentences were finished with the word...Cool.
We know who shot JR
Tattoo does not just mean an inking on your skin but a little man in a white suit.
The Jennifer Aniston was not our first celebrity hair cut, we had the Farrah Faucet and the Dorthy Hamill way before then.
So don't tell me about the old days... that was only a minute ago in the whole scheme of things honey.

Are we going back in time, cool!! Let's take a trip......Remember, watch out now.....
Penny candy?
The ice cream man bring ice cream to your house? I'm not talking about the bimbo trucks that sell ice cream bars. I'm talking about the big containers like at Baskin & Robins
Red light green light?
Catching fireflies in a jar?
No cell phones?
No microwaves?
No color TVs?
No ipods?
No CD players?
You had records that you played on a stereo
Milk delivered to your porch in glass bottles with paper caps?
There were no ATM's
You stood in line at the bank
The only drive through was the drive in where you parked your car, was called "Dog in Suds" had A & W rootbeer.
Girls had to wear dresses to school.
Teacher's could hit your nuckles with a ruler and get away with it.
Now wasn't that fun? You were just taken a whole lot farther than the 90's ---to some where around the 50's or so. Back when life was a lot simpler, but it was good.

the good old days were when even in a big city you didn't have to lock your doors at night,
you could leave the window open at on a muggy summer night for the breeze and fresh air.
You didn't worry if your kids had been abducted because they were gone all day.
Your neighbor wouldn't sue you because their johnny fell while doing a handstand on your steps and cracked his head open.
you didn't worry that that group of teenagers hanging on the corner were goin to shoot you and take your Converse Allstars.
You could go to the corner store with 50 cents and come out with a days supply of candy, enough to share with your friends.
Parents didn't ahve to worry if you were watching t.v. that you might see something you shouldn't.
IF a song was about sex, it wasn't straight out and blatant. there was still some respect for morals, even in rock-n-roll
the good old days are gone, forever. and unless you were there, you have no idea just how far downhill things have gone.

So... what you're saying is that whatever decade you were born in, the following decade is what decade your childhood is categorized as?
For example, I was born in '82, yet I remember all of those things... except Selena dying, because like I really gave a crap.
And 2PAC is still alive.
