Voodoo is not evil, and it does work. Check out the movie "The Skeleton Key." It was about Hoodoo, which is similar to Voodoo.

Vodou is not evil at all. Is a religion that focuses on helping the house members, thier family, and the community. We believe in one God called Bondye. We honor our ancestors because without them we would not be here. We serve the lwa (similar to saints or angels) to help us when we can not help ourselves. the lwa are the intermediaries between us and Bondye.
You may be thinking about Hoodoo which is african american folk magic. It is not evil but can be used to harm people just as much as it is used to help people. It works for me when I use it. I have not had any problems and I have not caused any problems either. I have helped others and myself with Hoodoo and other magic systems.

Voodoo is evil.... i have never experienced it nor i know anybody personally who has any experience with it.... but i am sure there are people who know how to do it. it all depends on how well you know the art (or science). most of these ancient arts are fading as this knowledge is not being passed on by the people who know it to others/next generation. but, yes, it is part of dark magic and evil - used for evil purposes only. i have never heard of anyone using it for any good....

It depends on what your definition of evil is. If it's Christian based, then you may think it's evil. In the real world, it's just another religion.

It is real, but only if you believe. Kind of if you think you have a cold you will. It's a psychological thing.
