Did you realize no act of congress ever changed Washington's birthday to Presidents day and that today is officially Washington's birthday?

Thanks, I didn't realize this.
So this day is the official recognition and honoring of Washington's
birthday, not just some general Presidents' day.

Presidents day is an observation holiday to include both Lincoln & Washington. It was strictly a business decision, and seldom falls on either's birthday. Respectively 2/12 & 2/22.

George Washington's actual birthday is Feb. 22nd.
Lincoln's is Feb. 12th.
