Like this week Best Buy has some decent DVD's for 4.99 and i went there after my meeting, its like half an hour -45 minutes away from me, and since the sale started yesterday i figuared they'd have lots of copies of them, since they had lots of copies of movies from the 5.99 sale i went to last week, on Friday night.

Anyways, i go there, they have copies of Crash and Van Wilder(which are suppose to be 4.99)...i go up there and they weren't 4.99!! In the add they are. But they arn't the right versions of these movies. The guy goes "the crash is suppose to be widescreen" i looked and it was widescreen, then he goes "its the wrong version" ugh!! making up all kinds of excuses. He told me that they had no more of the right ones left... I gave up and left.

Why would they put tons of the wrong movies in where the right ones are suppose to be?

Sales like this are to get customers into the store. Many people will buy the higher priced item since they are already there.

I don't know best buy sometimes makes mistakes, like once they put the rating of Killer 7 M(16+) to EC(3+) in one of their handouts.

The prior answers are true. Have you ever noticed that all sale papers tell you they are not responsible for errors?
