They won't be thrilled, but it does illustrate how many "patriotic" Americans support the war but bristle at any action that makes them face the consequences of it. Many of these conservatives think it's okay to show aborted fetuses in making their point against abortion, but don't even want photos of flag-draped coffins shown to the public that pays for it.

No Republican wants to see our soldiers getting killed in Iraq, but they are there to do a mission and to help rid that country of terrorists and give them people freedom to have a democracy - a real government. I have heard many soldiers say they pay no mind to the liberal's political reasons of being against the war. Our soldiers know they are there for a reason and have been given a job to do. If you have seen Sean Hannity on FoxNews last week when he was visiting our soldiers in Iraq, you would have heard straight from the soldiers' mouths that they are there because they have a duty to serve their country and to secure freedom for the Iraqis. War is not pretty and, in every war, there is death. Our soldiers know that, but they choose to enlist in the military on their own free will and know the risks of war. Bush did not force anyone to enlist in the military - that is one's own free will. Our soldiers chose that road in life and they chose it for a reason: to serve their country - and a good majority of them will tell you that as well!

Oh, now we get it ! When something is unpleasant and hard, Liberals give up. Typical loser mentality. And Liberals think they're fit to lead this nation?
Why don't you invite that loser-Commie Al Franken to dinner and you can swap third rate jokes?
What would have happened throughout history if Western Civilization had your attitude? At least 618,000 Americans died in the Civil War. About 290,000 died in WWII.
I can just imagine if you had seen the carnage in Iwo Jima. You'd throw up your hands in cloying distress and say, "Oh this is just too hard. Let the whole Pacific fall to the Japanese. "
Then the ultimate irony: if we do withdraw, and certainly that will cost us plenty when the terrorists aren't handcuffed by our presence, the terrorists will come here. And it won't be to shop at Macy's.
